Hej!

My name is Nico, After finishing my studies in physics in Würzburg I made use of the free time afterwards for a journey through India and Southeast Asia. I have never been in Asia I before but it was definitely a great time! I met people, opinions, ways of life I have never thought about before and made experiences I will never forget!

Back in Germany, I started working at a research institute and enjoy life! In my spare time I love to play piano. Playing an instrument is great to relax, enjoy and have fun. Bodo Wartke, a German comedian playing beautifully piano, is my favorite artist and if you speak or at least understand some German you should listen to some songs on youtube.

With friends in Freiburg I play soccer, watch movies, play games,...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started couchsurfing in Sweden and Switzerland and the experiences I made were amazing! Since then I have had guests from Argentina, China, America, Norway and Germany. My most important surfing experiences have been during my journey through India because it was a way to learn a lot about the country and a culture which was so new to me. Without couchsurfing this trip would have been very different and less intense.
Couchsurfing seems to be the perfect way to get in touch with different cultures and I really love it!

Interests

I love playing piano, singing, just making music together or alone. I do sports, especially soccer, volleyball, biking and sometimes climbing.
I listen a lot to audiobooks, spend quite some time thinking about every possible question and subject, like to share these thoughts with other people and am very interested in what others think about this world, life, religion,...
Visiting countries or inviting people seems to be the best way to get to know different lifestyles and new cultures. That´s why couchsurfing is perfect!
