About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To eat my way around the world.

ABOUT ME

Ok, so I´m full of life, full of laughter, and appreciate people who feel the same too. Married with husband in tow, we ride the wave of life together. We love good food, bossanova, tango, the jungles of Africa.
I crave intellectual conversation, and love new languages.
We came to Portugal 2 years ago on vacation, and never went home. Seriously, I just had the food taken out of my refrigerator. Now we´re taking it easy in Carcavelos, a little suburb on the beach outside of Lisbon (but we´re next to the train station) and we love to meet new people.
Hospitality is my specialty, so be prepared to feel the love...

PHILOSOPHY

Live Laugh Hope Dream, drink good wine

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We live in a cute apartment close to the beach. 2 couches, plus an extra bedroom with a single bed. (Couches don´t fold out - sorry)
I will offer you wine, laugh with you, and give you tips on seeing Lisbon. Food is always around, and the beach is at the end of the road. We also have a great marina close by with restaurants and bars, and a great path along the beach where people walk, wander and tango...
Downtown Lisbon is 20 minutes by train, 10 by car, and the train station is walking distance. You´ll fit in IF you love music, great stimulating conversation, and cats (we have one, and she´s the boss).

Interests

Jazz, Cooking, Big Game fishing, Wine Tasting, treasure hunting (for little pieces of beach), A Good Read, watching Tango (Can´t do it, husband has 2 left feet)
