About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"the World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page" -st. augustine

ABOUT ME

I am in my last year of college as a history and english student and I dont know what to do next!
I am full of wanderlust, my favorite thing to do is learn about new cultures and travel to new places.

I hope to teach English in Chile in March of 2010 for a year and write for an English language newspaper while I am there.

I love: my dogs, reading and writing, Washington DC, independent films, indie music, playing my guitar, nature, kayaking, sailing, swimming (I swam on a team from age 7 to age 20).

PHILOSOPHY

"be excellent to each other." -aristotle

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live 10 minutes away from Washington, DC, and 2 blocks from the Red Line metro. Since we have an sofa, I would love to be able to give some weary travelers a place to stay, because hotels in the city are pretty expensive. I live with my mom and her boyfriend and three dogs- one 14 year old black Lab and two adorable 5 month old golden retriever puppies--- so if you stay with me, an appreciation/tolerance of dogs is very important!
