CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to assemble a small library of rare information, especially regarding trade skills and the basic principles of construction and mechanics, native and "primitive" arts and spirituality, and botany. The library will fit in my head.

ABOUT ME

I am learning about "yes" and the differences between that and "maybe". It is a very interesting subject. I believe strongly. There is always the possibility for service, everywhere, which prevents boredom. Observation can tell you a lot. What interests me most in my travels seems to be the social dynamics at play. They play well, always revealing a sort of innocence about the world, one that I sometimes miss.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although I don't have a credit card and I am not VERIFIED, I did send a self addressed envelope to myself containing proof of my existence, in case it ever goes to court. I am participatory. That is enough. Otherwise I am just making up the details as I go along.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have traveled since I was a teen, and can count the number of times I have stayed in a hotel on one hand, without putting down my coffee cup. I have slept on most any kind of floor, some chairs, futons, fold outs, and floaters (air mattresses). When I was 23 I built a hostel in my house which has seen over a hundred dream filled sleeps in the last three years. It has been one of the most enriching rooms of my life.

兴趣

Music loves me. So does my mother and father. I also have two brothers and two sisters. I have been known to do some art, performance and otherwise, without the least bit of consideration for tact, although I am a tidy housekeeper. I am also a carpenter, have been a tree surgeon for a spell, also a cook, and a tour guide. The list keeps growing. I hope it never stops.
