ABOUT ME

I'm Danny and I've grown up in the beautiful country called New Zealand at the bottom of the world (or the top if you switch the poles).

I love travelling and am excited to discover the world. I finished studying politics and philosophy and moved to New York City in 2012. Am currently working in Brand Strategy and getting involved in all sorts of things - big data meet ups, Chelsea art openings, dance parties and other cultural and social events, generally meeting new people each week and exploring the city. Especially in the Summer!

I love music, making new friends and sharing life. I enjoy different, unique and exciting environments and experiences. I like exploring new places - especially cities! But I also could not live without nature and the beach.

I believe life is constantly in motion, so I try to live light and try to embrace change as much as I can, even if it's hard. My aim is quite simple - to live life to the fullest, dream big, and love other people each day.

i love new experiences with interesting people! Sometimes I like to consider why I exist on this small place we called Earth, and what is the best way to live... I don't have all the answers yet but the journey is part of the adventure!

CSing is such an amazing way to live life! I like meeting travellers and people who like adventure and to explore. I love travelling so I hope to couchsurf and make friends everywhere I go.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Fantastic!

I have had some brilliant experiences: from being invited to the World Eco day Festival in Rome by a CS friend, and then getting to go on a trip to L'Aquila in Italy where the was an earthquake, to hanging out in Barcelona with locals in their neighborhood bars and restaurants, and staying with friendly hosts in Central and South America. There is nothing quite like authentic, personal experiences!

In New Zealand I have had a wonderful experience going meeting CSers at the Wednesday night drinks in Auckland, and hosting a few here and there too. CSing brings the world together.

Music, art/photography/design, most sports - like playing soccer/football, basketball, martial arts, experiencing new things, travelling, reading, philosophy, international relations, media and culture, startups, brand strategy and entrepreneurship, ideas, movies, the outdoors and nature, pretty much anything... and meeting great people through CS!

I need to read more books, Tolkein, mostly non-fiction about arts, photography, design, how-to, business, leadership etc. There's too many books and not enough time!
