I'm a San Francisco based writer and traveler who has a passion for travel and adventure. I've worked and studied in South Korea, India, and Greece. I'm always trying to better myself as a human being and truly believe that once you stop learning you start dying.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've attended a few couch surfing events in San Francisco. In the summer of 2013 I'm traveling from Beijing to Paris overland by way of the Trans-Siberian Railway and we're hoping to find some kind people to host us along the way

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None to speak of, although I have stayed with friends of friends in different countries and always leave my home open to friends who need a place to sleep for a few days.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I survived an armed hijacking on the highway in Guatemala that lasted 30 minutes. Highlights included having a gun pointed at my face by a guy wearing a black mask, coming to terms with the possibility of being killed, and being able to see in person the harsh reality of daily life for average Guatemalans.
