About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Come up with something clever to write here

ABOUT ME

My name is Jace. I am finishing my last semester at UNM studying film. I love the way it can open my mind to so many different ideas/ways of life. When I'm not at school I can usually be found tucked in my bed feeding my Netflix addiction. Its not my only activity though. I love meeting new people (although I can be shy) and trying new things. I'm very open-minded and I can't wait to travel the world and learn new ways of life.
I'm Cloyce. I am currently in school studying biology and spanish. With my free time I try and travel as often as possible. Other than that I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I am laid back and really enjoy new experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

The more people I meet and the more I experience the more my personal philosophy changes. I don't know if I could pinpoint one in words. If I had to use sayings, I suppose I've lived my life according to three: this too shall pass, treat others as you'd like to be treated, you made your bed now lie in it.

I'd have to say that personal philosophy is a little too broad to answer in a few sentences. For me there are a couple that I try and live by. In general I really believe that anything can happen and life can be extremely unpredictable. That you should treat others as you would like to be treated.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We love the project! We started surfing in 2009 but we think its a great concept. We really want to use this project as a way to meet interesting new people and share fun times with others. We think couchsurfing is the best way to get to know a place and the people living there. We also love to host. Our home is always open

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Every experience we've had through couchsurfing has been great. The people who participate have a great mentality. We are easy-going and don't take hospitality for granted. We are completely comfortable with couches or even just blankets on the floor. We don't complain and we are great house guests.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jace:
So far my biggest accomplishment is leaving everything/one I knew and moving to a new city where I knew noone. Since making this change I have gotten a job doing what I've always wanted to do, work on a documentary filmcrew. It may not seem like much but each day has offered a new adventure as well a a new obstacle.
