ABOUT ME

I'm a college student, curious about the world and what is in it, reaching out to new people in new places, looking for an adventure.
I am a dancer for 17 years now...ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, rave, hip hop. Dance is my passion in any and every form, and I hope to instill this passion in other people someday.
Music soothes me, moves me, puts me in a place of mind that takes control over me. I love all music and am especially fascinated with the rock and roll age of the 60s and 70s. I love the passion that went along with the era and appreciate all of the beautiful music and people that have resulted from it.
I'm adventurous, spontaneous, soft-hearted, and have gained a peace of mind only obtainable through serious contemplation and meditation. Breathing day to day is reason for me enough to be eternally grateful for being brought into this world.

PHILOSOPHY

Love with all your heart. Never look back. Never feel regret. Life goes on, and with it comes beauty from patience and understanding.

I'm currently working for an NGO in Cairo, Egypt, that is basically working to promote the arts in youth education. I have been a dancer all of my life, and am starting a dance program here. My dream is to return to Cairo and nurture this program into a developed, integral part of the community, resting the responsibility on that of the citizens rather a 3rd party overseer, and to bring a source of joy and an outlet to frustration for children suffering in poverty stricken parts of the world. My ultimate dream plans on expanding this ideal to all parts of the world, particularly in the Middle East, but starting in Cairo for these few weeks has been rewarding enough. Seeing a smile on a child's face when learning how to do a pirouette has been magical. I will strive to keep this my goal for the rest of my life. Bringing happiness to some of the darker corner of the world.
