ABOUT ME

I'm pretty easy going. I just like travelling and taking things in as I go. Seeing cool things. Meeting heaps of people and enjoying good company. Oh and eating any new things. You'll win me over with a good meal anytime.
Most of all though I love talking to people and hearing new views.
I left NZ half way through this year, planning to be away for a couple years probably. It's time to go out, see the world and enjoy the experiences.
I'm currently in a town about an hour out of Tokyo teaching kiddies things about stuff.

I think of CS as a way to stop in new places while meeting people who really belong there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with a couple people in SE Asia and met some really amazing people through it. Really, truly amazing.

Interests

Playing guitar. I plan to be in a moderately popular locally known band one day.
I love snowboarding and surfing.
Also love movies, watching them. But also entered a fair few short film comps in NZ over the years. Awful films. Fun times though.
I like cooking. Baking especially. Only because I think food is so amazing and good to eat.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a variety of everything.
Bands like the national, interpol, Tokyo police club, animal collective, portishead, radiohead, Why?, Beck, And you will know us by the trail of dead..., The Mint chicks, TV on the radio, Yeasayer, The black keys, Cake, Rage against, The Clean, Caribou, JimiHendrix, Joy Division. And I give up, this is too painful to do. I like many things.

I love all books with a philosophical twist. Tolstoy is my current favourite. Anna Karenin is crazy cool. Also love Ayn Rand and am going on a bit of a Bertrand Russel bender at the moment...

Movies. Don't get me started.
