About Me
I'm a former lawyer turned professional musician: guitar and vocals. Happy to oblige with a tune!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love discovering the world, and hidden corners of the world in particular. Connecting with locals is the best way to discover those corners, and Couchsurfing is the best way to connect with locals!
I also like showing travellers around my home town and pointing out interesting things that you might not see if you stick to the main roads. :)
Interests
I love learning new songs, in any language - I specialise in French songs from the 1930s to the 1970s and play a lot of jazz manouche with my band La Mauvaise Réputation (www.frenchgypsyjazz.com). I love taking the path less travelled and venturing into territories that are so different from my own town that they take my breath away. And finding that no matter the differences there are always friendly people willing to say hello and share some stories and a meal with a traveller.
