ABOUT ME

HOLY MOLY i am crossing the ocean on July 17th. i never thought i would!

sorry for the past 2 years ...where I did not reply to surfing requests~ i am sorry for keeping my status as 'available couch' when it is very obvious i was not available. i feel like a jerk reading thru all the lovely, well articulated requests... i now have a home again-- something that feels really great.and i am now *really* available for hosting. To be real i was in some transient housing situations for a while

i've worked as a nurse for ten years, and am studying midwifery. i love to garden, grow food, hike, camp and bicycle.

i help run a free primary health care clinic for migrants and refugees in my community without access to health care.

riding a bike while singing/talking to myself, meditation, reading feverishly, writing old fashioned letters, and I love to sleep (because dreaming is really fun low budget travel). oh Crocheting and knitting!
