ABOUT ME

I spend most time in study or do something in school.
beside, I write some travel articles for magazines.
my life is flexible. I refuse a full-time job, if you will to know, I would like to share my working-leisure life style/theory with you.
I was a travel journalist, more like a travel writer actually. no matter what, I don't write for money anymore.
I like dogs more than cats, though I can deal with dogs/cats all good. If I had much more money, I'd help homeless dogs and operate a private library with restaurents, people could come to my library without payment.And, all books in the library are about travel/food.(stop laughing! it's a DREAM!!)
BTW, I like antiques, and every vintage stuffs. If you could share something vintage stories/things, it helps me to notice you.

PHILOSOPHY

Sometime, I think I am a socialism people. I do think people have to help each other, no matter poor or rich.
Of course, I know it's too much "utopia", but I believe it and try to be one of them. Somehow, I just dislike parvenus.
Besides, I like to keep learning everything. My philosophy is "If I don't keep learning, then I almost die."

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I like to talk with people, espcially getting many stories about temple/church/festival/food. besides, I expect myself to be a good story-teller when I host you.

Interests

Cook and Travel!!!
I like to participate in a culinary/gourmet tour when I traveling. My last experience is spent a day to join in jewish culinary tour in Telaviv. We cook almost 10 dishes in an afternoon. If you like, I would like to show my cook book and make a homemade taiwanese dishes for my guests(yes,I wrote a cookbook and published).

Music, Movies, and Books

I like suspense novel/movie, such as Sherlock Holmes.Japanese suspense novels is my favorite, especially Miyabe Miyuki (a famous female writer, just like Agatha Christie).
I love wathching movies. comedy and animation movies always make me happy.
About music, Blues/Jazz is my favorite type. however, I like percussion music as well...such as Raggae or blue man group(oh~I like the show so much.)BTW, I do like a hongkong rock band "beyond". they are talent to compose encouraged songs, and care about this world. I always feel positive from them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

taking jeep pass through a dessert by 100km/hr in Egypt. feel like traveling in Mars.
I belive that go to saharah dessert once more would be in my future travelling plan.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach chinese and chinese home made food.
besides, it's better to share/exchange culinary recipe.
