About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Mountain Summer Rock'n'Roll
ABOUT ME
Well, normally I'm full of energy and like to go outside whenever I can. I think of myself of someone open minded towards other people, done plenty of backpacking until a couple of years ago and have pins in 40 countries on my world map. Hope to do plenty of rock climbing and biking this summer - and maybe go somewhere scuba diving as well? Ahhh... You see, I'm a bit of an outdoor guy. But that doesn't mean you can't do anything else with me:-) I just started intensily to do Alpinism - seen some of our 4000'ers this year from the top. In Winter I started ski tour's (how's that called again in english?) - Imagine Freeriding with walking up the mountain first and you get the idea.
Well, I've moved to Zurich 2 year ago (time flies!!) and actually really love my appartment. And my hamac of course. I like to spend time at the lake or Irchel Park, Slacklining, having a beer and heating up the grill.
I only just started to really explore the city's Bar and Dining places. While I enjoy it, spending my weekends bar hopping somehow lost it's apeal a bit - so it's not a prime priority.
PHILOSOPHY
Hmmm. Some zen-like line in order here.... Happiness is wanting what you have, not having what you want. Ok, I DO admit, I sometimes miserably fail in my own philosophy:-) But hey, I keep trying...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I'd describe myself as a "passive" member. Since I went freelance 2 years ago, I simply don't have a reliable schedule and therefore can't make any promises and comittments out of the short term.
If i'm around (which might be tricky in summer - hence only "maybe") I certainly can get you going, will gladly advice am also open to catch a beer alike. Whatever lights your candle. If I can host you (difficult at the moment), I like if you know what you like and what not - what kind of involvement you would like. Usually, when I work, I can only offer to spend time in the evening.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Currently hosted quite a bit- and surfed some! BIt's a grand idea and would certainly like to get to know the network more, give back a little to help make it a success. I have met plenty of people of all colours and mentalities - but what strikes me that most people are really easy going. Good stuff! Made some great aquaintances and even - some friendships that last. You meet people that normally you wouldn't. While you're at home, it kind of feels like your traveling yourself.
Interests
Outdoor! Rock Climbing, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Tango Argentino (OK, that's not strictly outdoor, I know..), Scuba Diving, Reading, Movies and a good glass of wine, of course! Ahh. And cooking. If there's someone that motivates me to get the best out of me...

Music, Movies, and Books
pffffffffffff.. so many I really can't point out some in particular. "The book thief" i really enjoied, but they keep changing so fast... Maybe eat away one book per week on average..
Otros Aires is one of my fancy, but also other stuff from Gothic to Robbie Williams... So, don't pin me on that. Only "shake-your-booty-gangsta-rap" is not my thing, i s'ppose..
I'm a great movie-buff. Had a big laugh in "RED" and "Despicable Me", love also independent movies "El secreto de sus ojos" for instance. My all-time-favorit is "MEMENTO". Rockin'!!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
sunrise over the Uyuni salt lakes, sunrise while hiking to Fitz Roy, diving in Honduras, and an uncountable number of nice things in Switzerland (*secret advert*)
Cenotes Diving in Playa-del-Carmen, Mexico. Like flying underwater. Undescribable.
Started to do some real great gettin-to-know-more-my-country-stuff.. What a marvel. Started to do some climbing stuff "clean" and also one or two Solo. No biggie though (not that U know thing I'm doing crazy stuff) But I think they count as amazing - at least to me:-)
