About Me
CURRENT MISSION
The Stars. The Moon. The Guitar.
ABOUT ME
I've lived in Iceland, Denmark, Switzerland and the USA. I'm an architect currently working for the Reykjavik City Museum. I'm interested in arts and design but I also love films, books and really enjoy various sports, including running, swimming, dancing and hiking. I love meeting new people, talking for hours over coffee or a glass/bottle/bottles of wine...
PHILOSOPHY
Do what you gotta do.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far I've couchsurfed once but never formally hosted a CSer. I don't really have the facilities to host anyone but I'm happy to meet up or answer any questions you may have concerning your visit to Iceland.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first CouchSurfing experience was in Lausanne, Switzerland in March 2009. I was super lucky, my host was so nice and the couch/bed really comfy. It really set a standard for me!
Other than that I've stayed on friends' couches in various cities and always enjoyed those stays.
Interests
Architecture, design, photography, drawing, fine art, good books, travels, languages, dance, mountaineering, skiing, snowboarding, rock-climbing, swimming, running, music...and much more. My latest hobby is learning the guitar, and the fingers of my left hand are completely numb at this moment...

Music, Movies, and Books
TV series: The Office (UK & USA), Little Britain, David Attenborough, Twin Peaks
Books: The Catcher in the Rye, Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy, The Trumpet of the Swan
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Saw Neil Young live on the Orange stage when I snuck into the Roskilde festival some years ago. Unfortunately I didn't even know who he was at the time.... Awkward.
Teach, Learn, Share
One thing to read before visiting Iceland. The tone is a little negative, but it's sound advice:
