ABOUT ME

I grew up in the lovely town of Bruges in Belgium. I spent my childhood there and graduated from high school in 2003. Afterwards I went to Ghent, a city only 50 kilometers away to study Communication Sciences at The Ghent University. In July 2008 I was very happy to hear my name amongst the ones who succesfully ended their studies and recieved my diploma. After graduation I followed my German girlfriend to Salamanca, Spain, where she was living for one year as a part of the Erasmus-students exchange program. Right now I'm back living in Ghent, Belgium. I work in Brussels as an online marketing expert in a media agency.

I get my thrills out of numerous things. My primal interest goes out to music and movies. This means I can enjoy sitting at the couch all relaxed watching a movie as much as letting all my energy out at a good live music-performance.

When I have some time off you can find me either reading or in a cozy bar, enjoying a nice beer and talking to friends, family or people I met at the spot.

Finaly, I would describe myself as an open and honest person, always on the look out for new things to be discovered. The best way to achieve this in my view is travelling and talking to the people you meet while doing so.

PHILOSOPHY

Get as much out of life as possible. Daring to make bold choices that colour outside of the lines might make it not easier for you, but indefinitely more interesting.

I find it's important to be tolerant towards different people, but also towards different views and opinions.

I enjoy all kinds and forms of music. If you would make me choose my one favourite genre, I would have to go for metal. But my taste goes from metal, punk and hardcore over ska to chanson, folk, jazz, klezmer...

Having studied the history and analysis of movies, I love to discus about this subject ! A list of favourite movies is impossible to make for me, there are so many! Please understand :).
