I currently reside in Santa Barbara with my husband Christopher and our two dogs. We have a springer spaniel and a black lab. They are the loves of my life. I work with disabled college students at the local college here. I enjoy cooking, reading, hiking, camping and meeting new friends. Although we are not vegetarian we love to make vegetarian recipes. My favorite thing to do is drink wine on the beach.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are going to be traveling through Spain and Italy in the spring of 2017 for our honeymoon and would enjoy meeting local people on our travels. We are a fun couple who are always up for a new adventure!

I love anything by John Steinbeck, Charles Dickins and L.M. Montgomery. I also have a passion for historical biographies, some of my favorites have been: Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln, Peter the Great: His Life and His World, and Benjamin Franklin: An American Life. My taste in music is also eclectic I love reggae and anything acoustic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have backpacked through Ghana and Togo with a female friend and we were blessed by a witch doctor in Togo.
