About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'v e traveled all over the world and I love learning about different cultures. I studied cultural Anthropology and Cultural Geography in college and graduate school. I usually stay in hostels but I love to use couchsurfing because I want to learn the true story from the local people who live in each city. I want to learn as much as possible about the cultures that I'm visiting. I've always wanted to travel to New York. My parents and everyone I know loved New York. I hope that I find the perfect host to stay with.
ABOUT ME
I love to travel and workout at the gym. My undergraduate degree is in Anthropology and my Master;'s degree is in Geography and environmental studies. I love meeting new people and travelling around the world. I work on visual art and physical fitness in my spare time.
PHILOSOPHY
Travel the world and live life to it's fullest. Carpe Diem.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've used couch surfing three times before. I appreciate the hosts very much and I like learning from their experiences and hearing their stories. I wish that I had used couchsurfing more in the past. You can hear the true story from a host.
Interests
I have traveled all over the world. Experiencing new things and meeting new, interesting people grab my attention. Most people are so friendly and hospitable. I disagree with most stereotypes . Russia, Indonesia , Myanmar and North Korea are my favorite countries. These are unique travel destinations. I've lived in Shanghai, China, Hong Kong and Dubai.

Music, Movies, and Books
I used to live in China so I love "River town" and "Country Driving " by Peter Hesseler, and "Lost on Planet China" by J. Maarten troost. "China Underground" by Zachary Mexico is hilarious. "The Rape of Nanking," by Iris Chang is a classic. My favorite book about China is called "Stumbling Giant" by Timothy Beardson.
My favorite movies are "The Killing Fields", "The year of Living Dangerously", "The Mission" and "Apocalypto."
I'm dying to see anything at the Met. I love classical music and studied ballet as a child.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I saw seven people get stabbed to death on my first day in Japan. I was a spectator at mass games in North Korea. I visited Antarctica. All of my travel experiences were amazing. I've been to all 7 continents and 75 different countries. I can't pick one amazing thing. My life is too fascinating. I went bunjee jumping, white water rafting, horse back riding and mountain biking in New Zealand. I went snokeling in the great barrier reef, The red sea, Belize, Thailand and Sipidan islands in Malaysia. I went skydiving in Nepal and hang gliding in Brazil. Please don't ask me to pick just one. :) I love my life. I have no regrets about my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
Travel is a classroom without books and I believe that all people should travel as much as possible and keep in open mind and a sense of humor. People should never take advantage of their loved ones. Both of my parents died and this was a huge shock to me when it happened. Having a sense of humor is the best way to live.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have many funny travel stories from around the world. I have learned so much from my experiences and I like to learn from hosts as well. If you can host me in New York let me know ASAP.
Countries I’ve Lived In
