ABOUT ME
We're a young family of three with some big dreams.Since we've caught the travel bug in 2010 (1 month circuit in Middle East), we're now planning on seeing the entire world, discover and learn as much as possible about other cultures, people & places. The adventure continued in this direction in spring 2011 with a 6 months sabbatical planned for Asia. An unexpected change of plans happened after almost 3 months of vagabonding and we ended up living in China for one year.A bit about ourselves:Andra: I have an interest in pottery, hand made objects and foreign languages: Italian, Spanish, English & Chinese.Graduated a humanistic profile (Faculty of Letters), but decided for a career in IT.Razvan: profession engineer, working in the gaming industry as a Production Manager. I enjoy(ed) driving my motorcycle, learn guitar playing and photography. Other interests: good books (personal development, belletristic & sci-fi), graphical design and computer programming. As a strong common interest, we both share entrepreneurship and the desire to start a successful business. We've recently launched a website that sets to promote cultural tourism in Romania: http://aboutro.com/index.php?l=enHave a look if you're heading that way ;) it contains more than 2000 entries.
PHILOSOPHY
Limiting your knowledge to what you learn in school or in the close environment around you, offers only a finite perspective over this infinite sea of wonders.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1st. We've changed the way we used to see things: from mindless robots who spent most of the time just working and perpetuating a deferred life plan, we are now free souls with the focus on personal development (2008)
2nd. Seeing a curtain of torrential rain just 50 meters in front of us, but NO RAIN where we stood. It felt so surreal and amazing to see it also moving away afterwords and then back to us, eventually to cover the whole area (Bucharest 2010, 29th of May, Saturday - 19:15).
3rd. A one month trip in Middle East with as little planning as possible. It was great to interact with a culture that was new to us, go with the flow and be on our own for a while, on completely new ground.
4th. A 6 months sabbatical in Asia, which we had to stop after 3 months and establish in China for 2 years.
Ups, were we supposed to write just one? :)
