ABOUT ME

I'm just an outdoor-loving girl from the backwoods of Michigan who somewhere along the way discovered she had a love of science, a nurturing touch, and a way with people that called her to practice medicine. Graduation from med school is just around the corner! I keep myself balanced by making and listening to music, enjoying the outdoors, frequenting my favorite pub for a drink with friends, and wandering the world whenever I can looking for the next adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

God didn't put me on this earth to judge or criticise, but to listen, learn, love, and leave it better than it was before.

Recently learned about it from a friend who praises it up and down.

Interests

Music: everything about it. The sound, the act of playing an instrument, the state of mind it puts a person in, the way it can affect one's emotions or health, the way it binds people together who are very different otherwise. (oh and my instruments: piano, voice, baritone horn, trombone, and very bad guitar)
Outdoor sports: cross-country skiing, snow-mobiling, hiking, kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, boating, camping...
Ren fairs, traveling, pirates, concerts, beer, sushi, a great book, sea shells, Michigan State University sports (Yeah! Final Four!!), waterfalls, sky diving, white-water rafting, sun-sets, and just hanging out with my awesome friends and family.
