Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To commit to something which will allow me the means to continually pursue any and all passions.
ABOUT ME
i live in a very diverse community here in bloomington, IN. we've got every ethnic group under the sun and people from every walk of life. that being said, i like to think that the variations in our population have imparted upon me a greater understanding and appreciation for everyone around me.
i came to bloomington for undergraduate studies and am perpetually graduating... trying to figure out if bloomington is where i want to spend the rest of my life... enjoy playing games, brewing beer, and riding my bicycle anywhere that i might need to go. cheers!
PHILOSOPHY
mainly keeping my head on a swivel and running a tight ship... no i am not in the military but i do like to have some form of grounding in any given situation. i also like to apply the greater context of the human condition to people i meet and the interactions i have with them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
i have hosted a few couch surfers. i hope that my current mission as well as my genuine love for the world around me are enough to show, initially, that i would love to continue participating in something that might open me up to things i've never experienced or wouldn't have otherwise.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
my band went on tour the past two summers. i stayed on a different couch almost every night for weeks. definitely piqued my interest in future couch surfing/hosting.
Interests
a litany of interests here; a little of this a little of that. i enjoy beer brewing and beer culture (mostly just the brewing part), biking or walking anywhere that i need to get to, cultivating my book and game collections, the minimalization of my personal possessions.

Music, Movies, and Books
so much here, but three of each will do for now:
movies: anchorman, the fugitive, the truman show
music: cap'n jazz, broken social scene, the wrens
books: common sense, ghost wars, into the wild
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
i went on a two week canoeing trip to canada. we were self-sustaining the entire time and camped in a different spot each night. wowie, zowie.
Teach, Learn, Share
many things i have learned are easily re-teachable. i can recall most things i've consciously or unconsciously absorbed and pass them along to you!
