I love Cuban music, specially old styles like danzón, son, rumba, mambo, etc. Gypsy music, jazz, classical, (a.o. Andreas Scholl). I also love Lila Downs, Yma Sumac, Susana Baca, Chet Baker, Dusty Springfield, Mercedes Sosa, Lhasa, Burt Bacharach, Sammy Davis jr.

Books: so many, let me just mention Herman Hesse's Narziss & Goldmund and Marguerite Yourcenar's L'Oeuvre au Noir. I also read and translate a lot of esoterica.
I like Almodovar's films a.o.
