ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small town called Pokeshaw in NB, Canada on a dairy farm. In the summers I love wasting the day away soaking up the sun at the beach near my house and in the winters I enjoy skating, especially on outdoor ponds, ski-dooing, and going on sleigh rides to sugar shacks where you can eat as much maple sugar as you want.
My family and friends are an important part of my life and I don't know what I'd do without them.

I graduated in 2010 from Mount Allison University in Sackville, NB with a BA in French and Hispanic Studies. In my third year at MTA I went on an exchange year in Strasbourg, France. It was an amazing year and I got to travel a lot and have fun and interesting experiences with couch surfing.

After taking a year off, I moved to Ottawa and completed a degree at the University of Ottawa in Translation. I now live and work in Ottawa but always hope to be getting ready for another adventure somewhere else in the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far every couchsurfing experience that I have had has been great. I have stayed with numerous couchsurfers and met up with a few others and this summer I hosted my first surfer.

Dance: especially anything latin (i.e. salsa, bachata, merengue)
Music (all sorts but in particular anything that you can dance to and I have a bit of a thing for techno :)
I also play the piano, flute and sing
Figure Skating (I was on my university's synchronized skating team and I miss it so much)
Soccer, Volleyball, Hockey
I also really love to cook and bake... especially anything sweet
