About Me
CURRENT MISSION
p and j: To visit every country on Earth
ABOUT ME
A varied background. I've been married twice - too young both times - and brought up two boys from the second marriage. I studied Physics, but made films as a hobby that became a passion that became a career. I make short films that I self fund and have had some success in that I won Best Film at the DIY film festival in Los Angeles recently.
I live in the UK and Austria, having moved to Vienna to be with Jody who is studying history. We're getting married next year.
PHILOSOPHY
p: Do not do unto others what you would not have them do unto you ... I think it means live and let live, but I've not quite worked it out.
j: 'Keep true to the dreams of your youth'.

Music, Movies, and Books
p: Terry Gilliam's Brazil is my favourite film of all time. So quirky. He's the director I aspire to be like.
j: Breaking the Waves, Lars von Trier.
p: Music-wise and like all sorts - Bjork, Genesis, Kate Bush. God I sound old! I like new stuff too .... groovy.
j: likes anything except for the music p likes...Nah, but I think my music collection is infinitely better.
Books. I wish I had more time to read to be honest. (j: I read loads!)
p: I read Wild Swans not so long ago and thought it was brilliant. Ian McEwan's Saturday was great too. Just reading Paul Coelho's The Alchemist now.
j: Just at the moment I am getting a lot from Paulo Coehlo. I'll read most things though, adore sitting under a tree reading a book and watching the world go by. :o)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Did a couple of parachute jumps years ago. Saw a baby being born.
Teach, Learn, Share
j: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference. -Robert Frost. Damn that's a good quote.
Feel the fear and do it anyway. (j: 101%)
Never shy away from meeting people just because they are strange. (j: I'm not sure what p means by strange here... :o)
Don't use teleportation machines when they invent them - cos all they do is create a copy of you and destroy the first one. (j: says the nutty professor)
