Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I unfortunately can't offer a couch to anyone because I still live in my parents house and they probably wouldn't be very amused if strangers permanently occupied our couch. :-/
But as soon as I have my own appartement nice couchsurfers will be very welcome at my place.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to almost any kind of music. Mainly rock, grunge, reggae (at the moment), some pop, folk and everything else but classic.
I've read hundreds and hundreds of books so far and I actually liked them all. For the most part I read thrillers, true stories and phantasy stuff (Lord of the rings, The Avalon stories...).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Guiding a group of tourists on horseback through the hills of Alberta, suddenly being face to face with a large black bear. That was amazing, I'm pretty sure he was more afraid of me than I was of him.
- Guiding another tourist on horseback and watching a huge male moose wade a pond, eating algea and leafs from the trees around --> absolutely impressing
- riding a dogsled along the Takhini River in the Yukon, hearing nothing but silence and the dogs hackling
- I rescued a neglected shetland pony from a horse market, watching her come back to life and spend her last years in peace at our place was amazing and really moved me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could probably teach you the first steps to play piano or some guitar chords. I also can describe how to mush (dog sledding), I can give you lessons in horse back riding and of course I can teach you some German. :-)
