Be nice to other people. Genuinely nice.

If you see something you like about another person, give him/her the compliment. Do not hold back. Most people will not got so far as expressing the compliment. But please for future reference, do so! It will be appreciated, I guarantee it!! However, be sincere about it!!! Nobody likes kissasses.

兴趣

Books, different kinds of philosophies on life, people, the res publica, ..., travel, culture, art, opera, food!!!, good wine, good foreign drinks, --> if I'm in a new place, or country, I always try to have their speciality whether in food or drinks. It can be disappointing or it can blow your mind. But at least, you know, what it is like... so don't be shy to try something new. It is a win-win-situation, or you love it and you have something new on your 'favourites'-list or you don't like and at least you know now to stay away from it.
