About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find a way!

ABOUT ME

I am portuguese, but like to thing of myself as a citizen of the world. I have recently graduated from medical school in Coimbra, a wonderful student city, and enjoyed every minute of it. In the future, I hope to be the best doctor I can and go back to my hometown in South Africa and help with issues related to AIDS in infants. At the moment I am in Japan doing a clerkship in the hospital of Kobe.

PHILOSOPHY

I have to agree with couchsurfing motto: changing the world one couch at a time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed a few couchs with friends around europe while in Erasmus, and loved it. I am hoping next year I will be able to host. I am looking forward to finally give back to other people so much kindness I have experienced with CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All the experiences have been totally diferent but all worthwhile. And I think that is the great beauty of couchsurfing, discovering how other people can be so different(and so the same) from us.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you portuguese and english. I know about Portuguese culture and traditions.. I have travelled a bit, and my family is kinda of multicultural so I have some stories to share. But I must say I think I am a better listener than speaker.
