ABOUT ME

First conceived in New Zealand, I was delivered to my lovely parents who brought me up in Singapore. They named me after the ancient Greek Olympian God Hermes who looked after the safety of global voyages. The art of travelling has been instilled in me since a tender age and the nature of my work has brought me to China, India, United Arab Emirates and most recently Egypt.

By nature, I am an adventure seeker and nothing excites me more than going off the bypaths and the untrodden depths of wilderness with fun-loving friends. I usually do not go where a path may lead, but head towards where there is no path and leave a trail.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined CouchSurfing back in 2009 and is currently an active member of the hosting community in Cairo.

CouchSurfing its a great project and it never fails to fascinate me. My primary aim is to meet interesting and cool people from different countries and backgrounds. The exchange of cultures and ideas from people I meet on during my travels has always enriched me as an individual and is always the defining characteristic of my travel itineraries.

I have travelled extensively in Asia and is currently exploring the the rest of the world. My next adventure brings me to The Russian Federaton in February 2012, where I look forward to meeting new friends over there!
