ABOUT ME

A bit random, i love meeting people from other countries (esp other languages) and finding out about their life, allthough it usually makes me want to go and visit, maybe not a bad thing...
I love most sports, my favourites are football, cycling, snooker/pool/billiards (they're not the same!), and sometimes swimming. I can get quite competitive at things so if I ever play you, make sure I get to whip you ;)
Ive lived in 5 different countries, and loved different things in all of them.
I really enjoy presenting and listening to radio, and have broadcast from all over the world. I once accidentally told people to hold their willies on the radio.

PHILOSOPHY

Take things easy - one of my favourite phrases is 'what u gonna do?' and ive learnt it in 8 languages.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One questionable surfing experience in Oz, other than that been a great way to meet interesting people, surfed in NZ, Oz, London & Germany. Hosted in Sydney & London. Had a great meet in Krakow. In general love the concept, just wish more people came to Trier!!

Interests

Music (esp Hip Hop), Football, cue sports, cycling learning new languages, fires beside lakes, going out, laughing with mates, pretending not to speak English.

I am a proud ARSENAL supporter, ever since I moved to just North of London in 1990 and everyone in my class was a Spurs fan. I think time has proved me right :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - action or comedy, if it can be a mix of the two then great!! Top Gun is one of my all time favourite films.

Books - war / special ops fiction, favourite auther - tom clancy

Music - Pretty eclectic, I love all things hip hop, and really enjoying my DnB atm. Other times all I want is to chill out with a Jack Johnson CD. I probly drive on average around 800km a week so have lots of time in my car to listen to my music. I love listening to music in other languages.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most amazing thing i ever saw was one day while walking in some mountains - in the morning we went up to a peak, and took in the views over the valley. later in the afternoon, on the way home we were on the same peak in the middle of a cloud and couldnt see 20m in any direction - the contrast between the two views left me unable to stop saying wow!!

On a slightly more serious note I have travelled a fair bit in Europe & down under, and being half scottish know lots of ways to pay less than average for things.
