ABOUT ME

I'm a very easy going person. I'm always ready to do most any type of activities, especially outdoor activities, but I'm just as happy when I chill out with good people. I like to joke around with people once I get to know them.
I've always loved traveling to new places, but now that I've begun traveling outside the United States, I've found out that traveling is really a passion of mine. I want to see as much of the world and understand as many cultures as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well I'm just beginning to participate in this project. Hopefully someone will let me stay with them while I continue traveling. Once I get settled in back home, I would be more than happy to host other travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've definitely been "the guy on the couch" a few times while visiting friends around the country. It's a completely different experience than just going to a hotel. As long as everyone is cool with it, good times are bound to happen.

Interests

I enjoy watching and participating in many different sports. I really like to get involved with outdoor activities like hiking, biking, camping, tubing, snowboarding(even though I'm still green at it), swimming etc... For the last four years I've been a firefighter, but I've found a huge interest in Environmental Science and I am currently going to school so eventually I will switch careers and work with sustainable development.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movies that I can think of are Super Troopers, Snatch, and Tommy Boy. My music collection has all kinds of music and the variety grows often. I'm not too big on country music though. Some of my favorite artists are Sublime(definitely number 1 choice), Common, and Tool.
