ABOUT ME

Brazil is not only samba, mulatas with "bundas", and soccer. If you´re looking for that, I think I´m the wrong host... My interest in CouchSurfing is meeting people, getting knowledge, exchange culture, and so on.I love São Paulo city and I like to share our History and culture. When I have time, I really enjoy walking around with my couchsurfers to show the city. I love to cook and if I have time I enjoy making a dinner or lunch for couchsurfers.As my friends are used to say, I´m a viking-crazy girl: at home you´ll find drinking horns, Thor´s hammers, mead, viking sword, and books about viking culture, history, religion... If you´re interested, I can share my knowledge and experience about the vikings with you.I am heathen and I follow the pre-Christian Northern Tradition (Asatru, Forn Sidr, Odinism, or whatever the label might be).I studied Veterinary Medicine at University of São Paulo and got the master´s degree at the same school. I have already worked with teaching, direct research on free-ranging animals, research on infectious diseases, small animals and now I work for the State. I think it´s important to be open-minded, so I began college in a totally different area: Letras (Language, Linguistics and Literature Studies), but I´m doing it in small bites.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to host couchsurfers always when I can, and help them moving around the city. I enjoy giving tips about São Paulo, even if I can´t host someone. I´m trying to get time to attend the weekly meetings of CS in SP.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted people and have surfed. Both experiences were very nice, because I could learn much more about culture than if I had stayed at a hotel or hostel. And also I had the luck to meet cool people and make good and lasting friendships!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One of the most amazing things I´ve seen was a sunset in Iceland, in front of the Hotel Viking in Fjörurkrain. It was really impressive... a welcome card for me in Iceland.
