ABOUT ME

I am a very sociable,friendly person. I love meeting people, chatting, eating, partying together, being creative. I have a wonderful daughter who is a great travel companion and fellow adventurer. Dancing is my passion, I teach and perform. I also organise parties and concerts so that we can dance to good music. I'm very interested in culture, art, music,and enjoy festivals and alternative culture.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is so precious. I also believe that we can learn from everyone and every situation and this is one of the many delights of this life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never been couch surfing before as I've only just joined this site. However, my daughter and I stayed with a Berber family in a tiny village in Morocco, in the foothills of the Atlas mountains. It was magic being there, living with them and experiencing their lifestyle. Another "couch surfing" experience: I let a group of Germans stay in my family's beach house in Turkey. They were supposed to be staying with my friend, whose grandma turned up and there wasn't enough space for 5 people to crash out. We had a lot of fun together. BBQ's, chillin, etc.. They even cleaned my house from tip to toe!

Oh, where can I start... any music which moves me (physically, mentally, emotionally...)
Movies... best film I watched recently is Slumdog Millionaire.
Books... haven't read a book for a year. Last book I read - The life of Pi - I found the end excruciatingly painful, sad and scary...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have swam with river dolphins in the Amazon, with my daughter and step-mother.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a special skill for finding things and I'm pretty good at untangling knots. I haven't taught anyone yet but I could try :)
