I am an inquisitive person who likes to meet new people and experience new places and cultures. I like to try new experiences and food and I would be happy to cook you some traditional South African food or dessert.

I work from home, so I am usually quite flexible with my time.

I am fully vaccinated and also received my booster shot.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to give my visitors a taste of South African life and food. My place is not in the city centre, but I have a spare scooter that visitors can use if they have a license to ride it.
My parents have a holiday house in the Garden Route on the South Coast and I sometimes host couchsurfers there also.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met many great people who have stayed with me and I stayed with some fantastic people in Europe, the Balkans, Alaska and Canada.

兴趣

I love fishing and going on mountain hikes.
I also like reading, movies, drinking wine and of course traveling.

I have a very wide appreciation for music from classical to rock.

Skydiving in Stellenbosch, flight in Jet Provost and skiing in Switzerland.
Hitch-hiking in Alaska and camping in below -20°C was quite an interesting experience also.
Sailing across the Atlantic for more than 5 weeks with 3 other people on a 13m sailboat.
