About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet heaps of sweet as people
ABOUT ME
I am the guy in the picture, but in real life.
Right now I'm an intern at a super massive corporate corporation, which is where I spend most of my week. I am a kiwi, but do not play rugby... I love the beach and climbing up to places with mean views.
I´m basically an easy going guy who wants to explore the world a little bit and meet cool people from all around. I want to have tales to tell and a better perspective of people and the world.
PHILOSOPHY
Get out and learn- traveling and meeting new kinds of people must be the best way to do it. Seeing the world for yourself and meeting the people in it is so much more eye-opening than any classroom.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I let people stay with me, show them around etc. I'm a fairly casual member. After meeting heaps of cool CSers while traveling in South America I'm up for hosting millions of sweet as people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Not hosted much (as my previous living situation never allowed it), but met couchsurfers and went to a few Wellington meetings. Also met a bunch of couchsurfers through my brother. Met a bunch of and surfed while in Brasil. Went with a CS friend to the Jesus Maria festival of doma and folklore in Argentina, which was heaps of fun. Also met a whole bunch of CSers in hostels and at parties who almost always are awesome people.
Had a whole bunch of people so far at my current flat. They've all been good experiences so far
Interests
Music- playing guitar and piano, learning harmonica and bass and mucking around on a charango. Travelling, surfing, snowboarding, spending time with mates. Walking around, getting lost in unfamiliar places. Bodysurfing is great when the waves are no good for normal surfing, which is almost always where I´m from. Meeting cool, interesting people. I´m always up for a good conversation with anyone- everyone´s got something to tell.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
Pink Floyd, Tool, Muse, Radiohead, Vox Dei, Patricio Rey, Michael Jackson, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton. Pretty much all the obvious choices. And more.
Movies:
...There´s too many good ones. All the good ones. And probably some of the bad ones. Not american pie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-Las Cataratas/waterfalls of Iguazú in Argentina/Brazil. Mind-blowing.
The jungle in Bolivia. Rurrenebaque, La Paz, Potosi...Pretty much everywhere in Bolivia was cool.
San Pedro de Atacama in Chile.
The favelas in Rio de Janeiro. Pretty intense stuff
Cabo Polonia in Uruguay just before easter. Not too hot, not too cold. Good people, campfires, singing, sunsets, dunes, no electricity. A great place to forget about the outside world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some guitar chords. Basic harmonica and piano. I have also taught a few people how to bodysurf- the most fun you can have in the sea with no gear. I also know how to moonwalk, bit that's the limit of my dancing.
I If anyone out there has time and patience to teach me Hebrew, I'm all yours.
