Overview
About Me
I just started studying, yet again.
After some years of working and studying in development, I started my PhD in development studies last year. And that's what brought me to Davao, where I'm happy to host wandering travellers in my very little studio.
When not in Davao, I live in Antwerp, Belgium, with my lovely girlfriend.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well, my place is very small, but am happy to help out wandering travellers for a night or two. Also happy to join for a drink.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Unofficial couch- and gardensurfer since ages. Last couple of years got to know the joys of the couchsurfing community to get to know new places and their people, hosting and surfing.

Music, Movies, and Books
wide interest.
*music: ranging from the better road music (rory gallagher, to mention one name) to peruvian panflute orchestras (although this might be questionable)
*movies: others might not agree, but I did like 'Gainsbourg, vie héroique' (Gainsbourg, the movie)
*books: to give an idea: I enjoyed reading 'on the road', 'the unbearable lightness of being', 'the curious incident with the dog in the nighttime', 'Imperium' (and other books by ryszard Kapuzcinsky)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spending January 1 on a Swiss mountain top.
Teach, Learn, Share
*i can tell you all about belgian cyclists and the miscomprehension of belgian politics (including by belgians). and if that doesn't interest you, I'll probably find something else..
*willing to learn a lot
