I'm a grad student in the finishing stages of my PhD (in anthropology) and have been travelling a lot since I lived in Egypt about ten years ago now. I am most familiar with the Middle East and Europe, I worked some time as a volunteer travel guide for an alternative youth travel agency (sustainable tourism)- something I hope to pick up again. I'm also picking up on my account here as I am having great prospects of more travels in the near future (yaaay!).

I am a big fan of music and can honestly lose myself in most thinkable genres. Recent discoveries of music I love are Jonathan Kane, BadBadNotGood, Stuff.. otherwise Major Lazor, Todd Terje, Darkside, Nicolas Jaar..
I enjoy especially films and books by female directors and writers, that may be a coincidence.
