ABOUT ME

Hello.
I am an Australian, 25, male, aeronautical engineer by education (but not by practice), who is on a round the world holiday for a year.
I have just spent 4 months in South America, and head to Eastern Europe on the 1st of April.
I am completely trustworthy, honest, responsible...All that good, safe stuff that's important. I come from a large family with 4 brothers so I'm used to and enjoy living and meeting other people.

Hmm, what else. Well at this stage that's about it.

PHILOSOPHY

I love my family, I love my country, I love meeting new people, and I love challenging myself in everything I do.
And once in a while, take some time to stop and smell the roses...Hence, my motivation to travel the world for a year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As of the 29th of March (my signing up date), I have yet to couch surf. In fact I have only just recently heard about what couch surfing is.
So keeping this question in the future tense, the experiences I would most like to experience is the opportunity to be shown around other cities that I am travel to, so that I get the opportunity to get away from backpacking hostels and immerse myself in the real culture of the places I am visiting ... albeit for only a little while.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed a 6,200m mountain in the Andes.
Competed in a triathlon.
Raced in a 250km cycling race.
Studied Aerospace Engineering.
