ABOUT ME
I love eating and drinking with friends , but I also enjoy doing new things and meeting new people. Sometimes I'm a bit on the quiet side at first, but can talk a lot once you get to know me or with a drink or two. People tell me that I seem younger than I am - not sure whether this is due to my youthful good looks or lack of maturity. Either way, I don't mind...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted one couch-surfer so far, and really enjoyed it. I think CouchSurfing is great way to meet people and have a bit of adventure in my life even when I'm at home.
I worked as a WOOFER (willing worker on organic farm) a few years ago in Australia, exchanging my labour for accommodation, and I also volunteered on a kibbutz in Israel for a few months, so I think these sorts of opportunities are a great idea.

Music, Movies, and Books
Musically, I like everything from folk to soul to dancehall to electronica. I tend to go more for arthouse and foreign movies, but also like the occasional bad comedy. I read a lot and my tastes are diverse, but some of my favourite authors are Paul Auster, Henry Miller, Simone de Beauvoir.
Teach, Learn, Share
I taught English as a second language in Japan, Canada, Czech Republic and Australia for a few years so I'm very patient with learner English speakers and happy to give some informal help.
