Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn as much as possible about the ways that people use their forests to make a living while traveling the Americas.
ABOUT ME
I grew up all over the world, and hope to continue that tradition for a few more generations. My backpack is one year older than I am and is a sort of family heirloom passed on to me by my father.
PHILOSOPHY
I am trying to build my life around the idea that everything I do should be good for the Earth and its people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I´ve been backpacking so far, but when I get home I'll offer up my couch to anyone who really wants to visit Williamsburg.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A few years ago I went on a "Sustainable Forestry Backpacking Trip" where I'll start in Northern Mexico and Travel on through the country visiting and volunteering at restoration and sustainable forestry projects. This was my first trip using Couch surfing, but it looks like a great thing and I look forward to hosting in the future! I've stayed with two couch hosts so far, and it was a great experience.

Teach, Learn, Share
I know random stuff about the environment, cultures, the internet, science, and technology. I write about my travels on my blog: Restoring the Americas ( http://restoringtheamericas.blogspot.com/ )
