ABOUT ME

I'm Mexican, born in 1990 in Mexico City. I'm 175cm tall, weight 70kg, dark brown hair, brown eyes... Got one big brother and I currently live with my parents.
I studied in Mexico city and I'm about to start University.

PHILOSOPHY

I belive that life is all about enjoying and taking chances. Although I do not believe in an all mighty god, I do respect religions, and other opinions. I live in order to make my parents proud of what I do, to reach personal, academic, social goals that I've set to myself throughout my life. I also live to, maybe someday, have kids, make them proud of me and give them everything I can to make them healthy, smart and good people. I like to take risks, but also know that sometimes I'm on safe ground and can relax and think of nothing at all.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My goal here is to get to know as many people as possible, as I find that CS is a great idea to bring all sorts of cultures together to unite this world. I intend to have a couch available for travellers in the near future, and hope to travell all around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first time in CS, but I plan on getting more involved and maybe someday have a couch waiting for travellers from all around the world.

Interests

Although I don't play much, I do enjoy videogames. I like to play basketball, football, table tennis, among other sports, and I also like to watch professional games of these sports on TV.
I'm planning on studying Civil Engineering in Mexico City, and hope I can do a Masters abroad. I enjoy going out to night clubs and bars, but I also like the casual beer in the park, chilling out. I like mathematics, physics and geogeraphy. I'm also interested in learning German, Italian and Swedish; and maybe improve my French.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like music very much, I enjoy from Hip-Hop through Rock, Pop, Indie, Trance, House..... I also like movies, specifically action and comedy films. My favourite TV shows are Scrubs, Family Guy, Dexter, 24, Dr. House, Prison Break, Lost, The Sopranos, among others. I like to read a lot, but I've had long breaks because of school and homework. I enjoy books about crime, detectives and police investigations, also about fantasy, novels and plays of all sorts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen many amazing things in every city I have visited: from self-portraits of Van Gogh in Amsterdam to Skyscrapers in New York. One of the things that has impressed me the most has been the Roman Coliseum, The Eiffel Tower, Brandenburg Gate. I still hope i can see other amazing things someday, like the Egyptian Pyramids. Amazing things that I've done are passing my admission exam to university and backpacking through Europe on my own (maybe not so amazing, but to me they are).

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe I'm good at Maths, physics, IT and geography. I can also cook, play the guitar and paint. I can speak spanish and english very well.
I would like to learn more cooking recipes, learn German, Swedish, Italian and improve my French. I would also like to learn more about chemistry and IT (specifically something about videogame design) and also improve my guitar skills and learn some piano songs. My ultimate dream is to become an airplane pilot.
