ABOUT ME

grandly domestic with a whiff of Victorian..verging on being archaic...passionate about history, travelling, books, collecting antiques. Sincerely love making new friends which is one of the reason I travel alot around the world. I was offered a place to stay by a very kind and poor old couple from India, who gave me their only bed while I was in Assam..I was touched and decided to emulate their kindness to others

Music: Gregorian or Buddhist Chant. For more mundane taste...Simon and Garfunkel, Coldplay, James Blunt, Travis..
Movies: Dame Edna, Little Britain, Keeping up Appearances, Parkinson and mostly documentaries

An old and frail Indian lady,clad in a tattered saree, making rounds in a construction site shoeless under the searing of a midday-sun in Bombay carrying bricks...a rupee a brick. Her tanned-leather-like face looked up and she smile contently at me...I burst into tears
