COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience in 2009 was amazing. My host Antonio Debrioche showed me around the city, took me to his friends' birthdayparties, translated menu cards and shared his room with me for several weeks. On the first day I arrived in China, only a couple of hours after I landed I found myself (and 3 other surfers) carrying a two person bed, complete with mattress and sheets and another surfer on top of it, to his new apartment at the other side of the wudaokou area, over a railway crossing and through the traffic of Beijing... That was fun, and it was only the beginning of a really really nice trip...
