ABOUT ME

I'm currently in a state of transition after graduating from college and am preparing to join the Peace Corps this coming winter. In the interim I am working a few jobs, spending time with my family, reading a lot, painting and crafting and working on learning Spanish. I'm trying to figure it all out little by little, and so far the best way I've found to do that is in talking with others and taking things one day at a time. The world is a beautiful place and I look forward to experiencing it in continually new and changing ways.

PHILOSOPHY

We are all connected. We are children of the universe. Within each of us we carry pieces of others. There is something greater than each of us, and it is that which inherently connects us all. The world is a beautiful place.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've couch surfed once now and all I can say is that my expectations were far surpassed. In the four days that we couch surfed the generosity and friendship we experienced were incredible, and I look forward immensely to being able to give back, or give forward, some of what I received. Though I can't host surfers now, I hope to be able to in the future. I am also very willing to meet with surfers for coffee as they pass through.
