ABOUT ME

We're very much in love with each other and believe that what really makes the difference is being able to enjoy the simple moments together, with our families and friends.

In 2009 we decided to travel around Europe for a while and ended up staying in the UK until now. Before going back home to Uruguay, we decided to come and travel around Asia for a couple of months. Upon our return, we'll be working hard to make our simple dream come true: have a family and our small farm where we become self-sustainable by growing our own food, using renewable energy and recycling as much as we can.

We are very simple and laid back people who are trying to enjoy the simple things in life as much as we can. We like spending a day in the park, going to the beach, a good festival or party every now and then.

Both our jobs have given us the possibility to meet people from all over the world and when it comes to travelling, places make the photos look great but what really makes your experience more memorable are the people you come across along the way and that's what we're looking forward to.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We got to know this project though Pedro and Nati (Natipey), and we thought it would be really interesting: getting to know places from people like us. Then we discovered that the CS Project goes far beyond, and as we both believe that things would be much better in a solidary world, we found this even more interesting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've had our first two experiences in Brighton, then we traveled to Birmingham and Manchester with other CS members in 2009 and it was great!!! People are so nice and helpful they make you feel even better than at home.

Not movie savvies... not into a particular genre. we just enjoy spending a couple of hours watching a film under the duvet when it's cold. Never if the sun is shining!

Music...again. It depends on the moment. Sthg upbeat when cleaning, chilled out when cooking together.
Electronic music, Oasis, Rolling Stones, Beatles, too many to name them all but basically good music!
Also House, Tech House and Techno music!

Books...not much of a reader myself but Nibia likes to read anything that falls in her hands.
