About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to figure out the next step.

ABOUT ME

I wasn't like every other kid, you know, who dreams about being an astronaut, I was always more interested in what bark was made out of on a tree. Richard Gere's a real hero of mine. Sting. Sting would be another person who's a hero. The music he's created over the years, I don't really listen to it, but the fact that he's making it, I respect that. I care desperately about what I do. Do I know what product I'm selling? No. Do I know what I'm doing today? No. But I'm here, and I'm gonna give it my best shot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My roommate, Andrew Ramirez, and I have surfed across the East Coast and the Midwest, from Philadelphia to Milwaukee.

We also enjoy hosting people at our humble home in Austin, Texas. To date we've had about 10 different groups stay with us, and they have all been positive experiences.

Interests

Like any good CouchSurfer, I love to travel. I am also an avid baseball fan and a video game enthusiast.

I also love to brew my own beer. I try to brew a batch at least once a month, so there's always something around for us to try. If you surf with me, be prepared to imbibe a homebrew or two.

I'm also a gardener. The green beans and tomatoes came up great this summer, and now I'm watching my winter squash and cucumber sprout for a fall harvest. I also like growing my own barley to use in my beer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My best friends and I won a campus-wide RockBand video game contest in Fall 2008. We were crowned the best "band" at the University of Texas and won an XBox 360.
