ABOUT ME

My name's Lewis I'm 30 years old and living in walsall near Birmingham, UK.

I used to be a design engineer but I'm currently attending college studying computer networking for a change in career.

In my spare time I like to keep active with swimming, going to the gym and cycling.I love travelling and have just spent 3 months cycling around Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to use couch surfing to cross Canada so I can get to see the personal side of the country rather than just the tourist view.

When I'm back home I'd like to return the favour and show people my home town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had a great time couch surfing with Rachel and her friends in Duluth.

Interests

I love traveling and seeing the world especially by bike.cycling is one of my fovurite past times.

I enjoy live music from small pub bands to stadiums and festivals.

I'm a big classic VW fan and own an mk1 Golf and a Corrado.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to music but I don't like to put myself into a category. I'm not someone who's into finding all about a band or singer and many of my favourite groups I know nothing about,even the song titles, just that I love there music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I cycled across Europe last year travelling 3000 miles from boulogne in France to Gibraltar. I had such an mazing time that I now plan to see the rest of the world by bike.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to teach everyone about the benefits of cycle touring as a way of travelling. It's cheap, self powered, great for the environment and you get to see the whole of the country rather than zipping by in a car, train or bus.
