Overview
About Me
Hi,
we are Jenny (mom) and Zoë (daughter)! We live together with our two cats: Dr. Mikesch Moriarty and Sir Edward Singlemalt. We share many interests together, but our both passion is music :) While Zoë plays the violin solo and in an orchestra, Jenny is making money with her love to music.
We both also enjoy learning new instrument, like guitar or ukulele, for fun!!! When it comes to other activities we are very open-minded and like to do a variety of different things. Sometimes playing chess or just going for a walk, but also doing adventurous activities, like doing a trip to a fun park or going to an escape room is something we love to do together.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We love to travel, to meet new people, learn about several languages and especially try new food. :)
As we are too bored of "all inclusive holiday offers" we like to stay with locals to explore the places we visit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2012 (when Zoë was 6 years old) we walked from Porto (Portugal) to Santiago de Compostela (Spain) together with my brother.
Two years in a row we've also visited family in the U.S. In West Virginia we've seen beautiful landscapes and in Florida the prettiest sunsets ever!!!
After we visited our families we decided to do a roadtrip on our own down to keywest. Standing in the everglades, swimming at the Miami beaches or just eating some chicken wings at a restaurant near by are some cool memories we connect with this trip. But the most impressive thing we did there was swimming with real dolphins!!
Another highlight was our trip to Japan in 2019. We were in Tokio and then went to the north to see other parts of Japan. In Sendai we couchsurfed in the guest house of a munch :) He was very nice and showed us many secret places in town.
Our latest trip we.ve done was visiting Amsterdam and Zandvoort. You may know Amsterdam, but have you heard about Zandvoort? It is a LOVELY, little town directly at the beach. There is an arcade and also an escape room, which we've been to and it was so fun.
Teach, Learn, Share
We play several instruments and can teach you some easy stuff if you want.
Teaching you about our knowledge about countries we've been to is also something we can share with you.
After our visit to Japan we, especially Jenny, knows very much about Japanese food:)
Trying to learn about each language and communicating with the locals is something we definitely adore and want to do!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Time, experiences, fun :)
If we have time, we would love to show you the best places in and around Braunschweig - for example our favorite secret botanic garden or the best restaurants.
We also love cooking and baking together and can share some of our foods and recipes.
