About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"Dance like nobody's watching; love like you've never been hurt. Sing like nobody's listening; live like it's heaven on earth." - Mark Twain

ABOUT ME

I have two beautiful little souls who call me Mommy and I believe that life is an exciting journey. I hope to impart my caution and curiosity in both of my kids as well as a love of music and travel, reading and self reflection and teach them that the chance to truly love and be loved is worth taking the risk.
I've been a traveler since I was 10 days old. Met the coolest people, seen incredible cultures and dived right in, eaten crazy food that scared me, slept in places that shocked me and loved almost every minute of it. I hope my kids will someday get the same chance to experience this world.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in putting yourself out into the universe, in a kind, generous and respectful way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far, I have hosted a few local CS'ers. I am wary of single individuals but may be open to a family or mother with kids. I have met a boat load of couch surfers through my best friend who should get an award for all the CS 'work' she is involved in, along with some of her friends as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first 'couch surfing' like experience was in France when my mom and I shared a hotel room to save cash with an elderly man we met on the train. I joke that my mom was nuts, but looking back I realize it was primitive CS at it's best!

Interests

Photography, shopping, beach, music, dancing with my daughter, racing my son down the street, food, coffee (a must) training at the gym, reading incessantly

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Given birth. Bringing my children into the world and watching them grow into these incredible little people whom so many other people already love has been a tremendous gift.

Teach, Learn, Share

Life is too short to be unhappy. Fulfill your dreams, chase those rainbows and damn it eat that extra cookie every once in a while.
