Overview
About Me
Coming back online to Couchsurfing after a brief (decade) hiatus. I am a working professional (attorney/banker) and have an Alexandria townhouse with a spare bedroom and a five-minute walk to the Potomac Yard metro station (Blue/Yellow), which should be perfect for CS visitors.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Umm Let's see... I participate by hosting, surfing, and playing ultimate frisbee with the local CS community. I like to think of CS as a community that cares and helps each other out. In March, I was approached by a random 20-something during the madness of South by Southwest asking for a ride to a location he didn't know the address to. I was slightly sketched out until the magic words "I need to get to my Couchsurfing host." Voila. Royal treatment. Ended up staying at my house for the night. Yay CS community!!!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
First CS experience was an emergency last-minute call from CSer who got into Basel at 1:30 AM. Ended up taking the next four days off of work and they were some of my best times in Switzerland. Loved every minute of it...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Liestal Fire Parade near Basel Switzerland. There is nothing more epic or awe-inspiring than seeing people carry towers of burning logs through a small town.
Teach, Learn, Share
Hm. Not cooking. I'm a horrible cook. However, I'm pretty good at washing dishes...
What I Can Share with Hosts
Spare guest room with twin and private bathroom, also have a pull out queen on separate floor
