ABOUT ME

Me and Romuald lives on a small eco-farm in Järna, a village about one hour from Stockholm.

I'm working as a yoga teacher which is one of the most amazing things that I have ever had the chance to do! I feel gratitude everyday for that I get to meet all of these wonderful people, for sharing their yogic experiences and for having the yoga philosophy and practice as an integrated part of my daily life.

I have a profound conviction that we all have a personal responsibility in making this world a more sound and harmonic place where we regard every being as equal.

There is a sankrit mantra that goes: Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu, which can be translated into: May all beings everywhere be happy and free and may the thoughts and actions of my life contribute, in some way, to that happiness and that freedom for all.

So that is how I try to and how I want to live my life.

Pantanjali Yoga Sutra 1:33: By cultivating attitudes of friendliness towards happiness, compassion toward suffering, delight toward virtue, and equanimity toward vice, thoughts become purified, and the obstacles to self-knowledge are lessened, the psychic nature moves to gracious peace.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Love hosting people here in Järna, it's such a beautiful place. And it's such a wonderful thing that at times when I can't travel myself the world can just step into my home for a few days instead! One learns so much.

When travelling I prefer to couch surf, since it's keeping my heart, and yours, open and trusting. And that's invaluable.

兴趣

Besides practicing or teaching yoga, I study physiotherapy at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm. I always have some art/painting projects running as well.
