About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To enjoy and get the maximum out of life, meet interesting people and experience unique things!
ABOUT ME
I'm a 24-year old girl who simple loves life.
I have a small 1-room flat in Ãâ¦rhus (pretty near the center) but it is seldom that I actually spend time there :-)
I'm all the time in the uni, in my political party (the social-liberal one where I am a candidate for national elections), in the cinema/museum/café having coffee with a friend, doing voluntary work in the immigrant-neighbourhood - or whatever.
I stayed one year in Granada (Andalucia, Southern Spain)as aupair and got a lot of Spanish friends, an almost fluent Spanish and a new home - my spanish friend call me "guiri gitana" in the meaning "spanish stranger":D
I also lived half a year in Athens while working at the Danish Embassy in Greece as a trainee as part of my studies.
I love travelling and with my parents and my 3 siplings (younger thanme: Hjalte who is 22, Freja who is 16 and Siri who is 14) and a lone I have travelled all over Scandinavia and Western Europe and also the Balkans, Greece, Turkey and Chech Republic. Furthermore I have alone travelled to other places in Europe and to China (Shanghai, Jiaxing and Beijing), Syria (Damascus and surroundings)and Nothern Marocco.
Last winter I went backpacking to Albania, Serbia, Bosnia and Slovenia. And it was truly amazing!
I would like very much to host people from many different places - I'm sure that will be a funny and pleasent experienc. I have done many exchanges both with school and my political party and met many funny and interesting people, so I'm definately into doing so again! So don't hesitate to write me!
Best, Liv
PHILOSOPHY
"Life is like a big box of chocolate - you never know what you're gonna get" :-) No but really life is about living it, it is good to make plans, good taking a long educantion but also it is great living some of your days like it ws your last: if you're dying to see a new movie, an old friend or just catching the next plane somewhere - DO SO! Follow your heart! Take a chance!
Also I loved what a Serbian friend one day said to me: "Zivot nikada nije lak - zivot je lep" (= Life is never easy - life is beautiful)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As well I will try to use the couchsurfing as often as possible - at least for some days in every travel I make n my own :-)
Futhermore I will update my profile as often as possible (and necessary) so it will be all the time "up-to-date". Also I will recommend this page to every travelling-fan I know who is not already a member!!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Woody Allen, Pedro Almodovar and movies like: Maria full of grace, Forrest Gump (of course), Sarajevo - song of hope, Habana Blues - as you see a great mix :-)
Books: Kite runner, everything with Carsten Jensen (Danish author), magical realism of Isabel Allende, political books for example those of Anna Politskovskaja and so on
Music: I mainly listen pop and then I love ethnical music (latino, flamenco, Greek, Turkish, Arab, Balkan and so on) and listen a lot of it all the time (in my room, biking, running, in the train and so on - briefly: 24-7!)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
That's difficult! I think I will have to say Semana Santa en Granada (the Spanish Easter is amazing with its parades, showings of big Jesus and Mary statues, music, incense, flowers and so on).
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach many people a lot about politics - both Danish and international and both theoretically and empirically.
I would love to know more about religion and history in general - and what is more worthy than the history and the religious belief actually told by people?
